It's weird, my Chipoo ignored this thing completely as a puppy. Maybe it was too big for him at the time. Now that he's a year old, he loves it. He bats it around even when there's nothing in it. He picks it up and carries it to his bed so the edges around the hole are frayed a little, but so far it's still holding up. I put little treats in to keep him busy when I'm gone, plus a few big treats that he has to really work to get out. It can keep him busy anywhere from 5 minutes20 minutes. I definitely recommend giving it a shot. My dog has horrible separation anxiety and this + a stuffed Kong keeps him busy for short trips.great design, perfect size!i would give it a 5, but it's not durable.i purchased this uniquely shaped treat dispenser to slow popeye, my english bulldog down when he eats. i bought the 5 inch one and it took him 30 minutes rather than 3 minutes to eat, but when i took it from him to wash it and put it away until his morning meal, i noticed he had already punctured one side and it's no longer safe for him to use. 30 minutes and $12 is down the drain. i wrote the ourpets.com to see if i could get it replaced with the cube that they sell or a refund........24 hours later-kudos to ourpets.com. they're replacing it with the more durable treat cube!!
