These treats are about an inch and a half long and three quarters of an inch in diameter. The picture on the boxes (as of may 28,13) I get is not the beagle, it's of a husky and the label says "large for dogs over 50 lbs." My dogs are large (60 and 105 pounds) so I am good with that. What's a little unnerving is the ingredient list. There are things in these treats that, after researching, I still don't know why they are included.

ingredients (from the box): wheat flour, meat and bone meal,dried poultry by-products digest, cooked bone marrow, bacon, beef fat (preserved with tocopherols), gelatin, salt, ground limestone, oat hulls, natural smoke flavor, caramel color, annato extract (color), red iron oxide (color), sodium metabisulfate (preservative), vitamins and minerals (choline chloride, zinc sulphate, vitamin E supplement, D-calcium pantothenate, vitamin A supplement, copper sulphate, ethylenediamine dihydriodide, riboflavin supplement, vitamin B12 supplement, vitamin D3 supplement), RED 40.

The dogs don't care. They will do almost anything to get one. I use the treats to get them out of the kitchen after a meal without bothering each other. Works like a charm. Whoever finishes first runs out to me and waits eagerly for a treat. When they both are finished I give them the treats.
