I bought a Vizsla puppy from a breeder who raises hunting dogs in WI. These are high activity dogs. This was the food he recommended. I've fed my puppy this since I've had her. She's an energetic, healthy dog. I would say the taste must not be great; she doesn't wolf it down when I feed her but she will eat it.

We used this to bulk up an emaciated rescue dog. This has helped fill him out, build muscle and grow a gorgeous coat.

Not a fancy food, but good enough. I have the proof in a healthy, energetic dog with an excellent digestion. Poops twice a day, right on schedule with this chow.

Our vizsla loves the food and wolfs it down twice a day. This is the food the breeder used and feeds his adult competition dogs as well. Our 7 month old puppy is happy, energetic, with a beautiful coat. Stool is usually very solid after she eats, no messy cleanup. Be sure to give plenty of water to help your dog digest this food.

I have a 2 yr old Doberman who I have tried on EVERYTHING. Raw tons of different brands and varieties from high end to moderate and this is the ONLY food that has put weight on him that he eats relatively consistently. Sometimes I have to add some wet food but honestly this took him from 60-65 to 70-75 in a very short time. For high energy dogs or dogs with high metabolisms that burn through calories this is the food for me. I will be buying Pro Plan from now on!
