I try not to purchase unhealthy food--for the family or our dogs. This product has a big circular emblem on the package touting "100% Real--Wholesome and Delicious." It was on sale, and I had a coupon. Not reading the back of the package, I foolishly bought them. Imagine my surprise to find only ten small slices inside. With two dogs and a neighbor's pet who frequently visits, these lasted about two days. I figured it out--not on sale, these cost over $1 an ounce. Put another way, $16 a pound. That's way more than hamburger or steak! Who is Milo's Kitchen trying to fool?

Worse yet, the ingredients are anything but wholesome. Yes, the first ingredient listed is beef, but it goes downhill from there. Fifteen listed ingredients--#3 on the list is sugar, #4 on the list is salt. Do these sound natural to you--propylene glycol, monoglyceride, potassium sorbate, citric acid, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite and butylated hydroxyanisole? Real?...yes. Wholesome?...no way. To be fair, the dogs did enjoy eating them.

I was fooled once, but it won't happen again. Beware of skillful marketing tactics at your pet's expense.

*LADY* loves these! We break them in half and give them to her, so she thinks she is getting twice as many. I just got two more bags to put away in the cabinet. Aromatic and [I assume] tasty : Good for small or large dogs.

While I like the idea of Milo's Kitchen I found that the ingredients in the product raise some questions about the health risks to my Rottie. There are onions and such that could cause harm to my pet so with that said I don't believe I will be purchasing this item again.

Hi my name is Puppa. I absolutely love your treats! I ate an entire bag while my family was eating dinner in a restaurant!! Needless to say, they were not happy but boy was it worth it. My only complaint is that I was dying of thirst afterwards! My stupid humans took forever to figure it out but then all was ok. Would eat another bag in a heartbeat! Great product!!!
