I got a free cup of the skin and coat smoothie at the local pet store and gave it to my 2 dogs straight out of the refrigerator (you can keep it at room temp or even freeze it for a treat on a hot day). They both gobbled it up, even the picky dog. It has banana and peanut butter along with other decent ingredients. There's about 100 calories per serving cup, so it you're pup is "watching calories" you might want to give them a partial amount or save it for special occasions.The product flavors have now changed so when the Skin & Coat product went from peanut butter flavor to Salmon & Sweet Potato flavor, I was wary of buying it for my fussy eaters. But, surprise, they still loved it. I like to tease the dogs a bit by feeding it to them by the spoonful (refrigerated or at room temperature) and watching the anticipation for the next spoonful -it's almost as good as putting a finger-full of peanut butter on the roof of their mouth and watching the fun. And it really helps prevent their skin from getting too dry in those winter months when the heat is on and driving down the humidity in the house.Highly recommend this product all dog parents should treat their wonderful, furry, 4-legged companions with this terrific product.
