I first purchased one of the medium size Sphericons for my furry companion a couple of years ago. I put 2 small size dog biscuits and one small soft savory treat inside, and she loves to roll it around the floor, and because it's soft thick rubber she ultimately bites down on the whole thing to make the treats small enough to retrieve. It's a never fail entertainment for her, and (I believe) because it's soft rubber helps to keep her gums and teeth clean. They are extremely long lasting (for my dog she's not very rough with them), I've had the same one for a year, and just wash it from time to time with warm dish soap and water. Recently when I sought to finally replace the one we currently own, I found that my local Petsmart is no longer carrying these. I found the best price here at Amazon, so I grabbed several of them. It's a great product!!(Some of the other JW Pet Company Holey Rollers' holes are too large to hold treats. If you have a larger dog, and would like to stuff it with the larger biscuits, I recommend the Sphericon size large.)
