This leash is soft on your hands but very sturdy. The brass hardware is well done and the overall workmanship is great. I have large dogs and I like the control I have with this, as it is easy to grip, not harsh like some nylon leads I have seen. It might not stand up to heavy chewing, but I don't have that issue.
