Cat had an abscess. Pretty bad, on his jaw. By the time I found him probably 24-48 hrs after is happened he was pretty swollen around the area, even his lip. What do cats do in the wild? And what to vets do
? In the wild they deal with it, clean it themselves and hopefully dont get a blood infection. Vets, shave the area, lance and drain the abscess, and give anti-biotics. So I did what the vets do and ordered this, and put warm wash cloths at least once a day to move the puss, and bad stuff out. Ordering this cleared up his remaining abscess even the hard left over. I am a believer and about 150-250 richer!!
His ear was smelly too, ear infection so I got some of this(link below)to have something a little better than hydrogen peroxide.

Delivery was fast which I appreciated. I had a cat with an abscess on back leg that was draining well, but obviously infected. I knew a trip to the Vet was going to be around $150 as this has happened to a cat of mine years ago. (Before you judge me, he is a house kitten who got bit a little too hard by his sister kitten).I will list here how I treated the wound.
1.) Shaved the area around the wound with electric clippers. (do NOT do this without an assistant or if you've never used clippers)
2.) cleansed the wound 2x daily for 48hrs, then 1x day with Betadine, worked in with a warm wet wash cloth and warm water. I bet Physohex will work too. Use something like a Pyrex measuring cup so you can let the water flow over the wound for awhile. I did 4 cups worth each time.
3.) NEVER use peroxide. Maybe the initial cleanse, but you will cause pain. Mostly because Peroxide does damage the skin badly. Just don't do it.
4.) I used a small syringe to give my cat 0.5cc (which is = to 5 drops) 4x a day for 10 days as per the instructions.
I saw improvement late the second day with the color of the discharge. I also used a soft cone to keep the cat from licking.
I am grateful for discovering this product and it will forever be part of my home pet emergency care shelf.
I researched the ingredients after I began viewing rapid improvements. They are simply a combination of herbs and plants that boost the immune system. Made me think, "what is penicillin?" A synthetic product derived from naturally occurring fungi and molds.
