I've never written a review before, but had to weigh in on this product (which I'd never heard of before receiving as a fundraiser freebie).
My elderly dog, pickier than any cat I've ever had, has dental issues & digestive issues hard to find chews she will eat that won't cause 'issues'. (Hard to find chews she will eat...period.)
For safety reasons, I insist on *sourced* in the U.S. (as opposed to "Made in the U.S.A.", which is often chicken produced in China & then shipped back here to be "made" into treats...).
Colorado Naturals is SOURCED and made in the U.S. from high-quality chicken meat. My elderly dog has no trouble eating their chews, which aren't brittle (don't splinter) but also aren't so soft as to be gone in seconds, and with so few ingredients and no artificial additives, they don't cause her any gastric distress.
I highly recommend this product to anyone with adult dogs! (For puppies and food-insecure dogs, follow the cautions that apply to any kind of chew.)dog has always loved these. she even likes being groomed because she knows she will get one as a reward. and most of all, i don't have to worry if they are poisoning my dog because these are made here and not in china.
