Having purchased NaturVet Quiet Moments Calming Soft Dog Chews at a local retailer, $14.99, I was very happy to find them on Amazon.com for $5.99! I give them to my dogs when I expect them to be under stress, such as vet's visits. The dogs like the the chews and while the chews keep the dogs calm, they don't knock them out...unless the dogs were going to nap anyway.

These things are the only chews I've found that work on my hyper Chessies! Don't get me wrong, I love the energy (and brains) this breed inherently has...but...there are times where its necessary they be a little calmer. These chews make vet visits, loud thunderstorms, and family gatherings easier to handle. They also worked out great when one had to have surgery on his toe--poor guy ripped his nail completely out ouch!!--instead of feeding him the prescription downers, I gave him these instead and they worked like a charm, plus safer too.

The soft chews appear to work as well as the tablets, but are much easier to give. I would recommend this product to try out on your dog before you try the tablets.
