As I asked "Why don't all dog food and cat food bags come like this?????" The zipper closing top is a Godsend for all of us that have struggled getting the bag opened and then had to put up with a tattered top for the duration. It allows you to open fully to scoop out or partially to pour. Then close completely to keep food fresh with a nice smooth action. Oh, by the way the dog(Herc) really enjoys the food...which I guess matters also...LOL

Supposed to be a tasty meal of Chicken, Rice & Vegetables. However, look at the ingridients, the main ingridients are Corn products which is unhealthy for all dogs. The 'rice' and 'chicken' are by-products which is a lowgrade 'meat leftovers'. The so called vegetables portions are 'Carrot Powder'. This product is not a healthy option for your dog and should not be on your short list.

Your dog might love eating it, because it's doggy junk food, but it's not healthy for him.

I sent this food to a dog refuge. The dogs aren't routinely hungry there & they taste a wide variety of kibble. Sometimes they eat it; sometimes they taste & leave it for someone else.

This PEDIGREE chicken/rice was a winner & the first dogs who tasted it, finished it.

The value & convenience was great. There was come confusion about the delivery but Amazon corrected it quickly & pleasantly.

I wouldn't bother purchasing this dog food from this customer, for one they don't even ship you the correct dog food, its an entire different type and they don't even accept returns. So seriously don't even purchase.

My dogs have been eating Pedigree and other commercial dog food for years and they are both healthy and happy and fit at 9 years with no medical problems. I also work with many rescues who feed their dogs commercial brands, simply because of the price. Yes, we know the ingredients are not as advertised on the package. I'd like to feed my dogs organic or raw 365 days a year if I could, but I cannot. When I can afford better, I buy better. If I take in a dog who is sick, he gets fed per vet recommendations. But for healthy dogs, and in this economy with many people are abandoning their pets because they have no home to keep them in, or the money to feed them, this is a good kibble. So when I find a deal like this at Amazon, I order it and send a few bags to local rescues. Not everyone can afford $30/bag. I'm not sure why the ad I'm looking at today says $26/bag, but I got this for $12.00 and free shipping with Prime. Much better deal than going to the store.
