Well, this WOULD be a great collar if Amazon had sent me the right one. I specifically wanted a martingale collar because it's easier on my dog's neck. I received a collar in the design I ordered, but instead of a martingale I received the standard collar. The strange thing is, the bag it came in had a sticker on it that clearly says "Yellow Dog Design Martingale Collar," but that certainly wasn't what was in the bag. Amazon needs to LOOK at what they're throwing in a package before they mail it! Now I have to go through the hassle of returning this one and reordering the right one!

UPDATE: Amazon contacted me shortly after I requested a return for the standard collar I was sent in error. They apologized and told me to keep the standard collar and they would overnight a new collar to me at no charge. Great! Except when I received the package the next day, it was AGAIN a standard collar in martingale collar packaging. I again contacted Amazon about the error and demanded a refund instead of yet another collar sent to me, because I'd surely end up with yet a third standard collar that I didn't want. They ended up looking into the matter, so hopefully anyone that orders this collar from now on will actually get the proper item. As for me, I'm not going bother re-ordering.

The product picture shows a black plastic clip on the collar, but when it arrived the collar wasn't a clip on. To put the collar on, you were supposed to slide it into a larger position, put it over the dog's neck and then tighten it. Also, my dog ALWAYS wears a size medium collar, but on one of the smallest settings. This collar was too big for her. I ended up returning it.

This company is great. I love all of the cool designs that they offer. The only problem is that the material is slick and the collar gets increasingly wider as its used. I put a small stitch in it to prevent this.

This was my first martingale style collar and I was very happy with it, not to mention the quality is amazing. I would definitely recommend this collar for anyone who is into fashion and functionality.

I like the Martingale collar design. The only issue with this particular collar is that it seems to slip and loosen over time. Maybe they all do that, or perhaps this material is more slippery, but I find that I need to go and tighten it every few days. That's not a huge deal to me because I'm with my dog all the time and am paying attention to the fit of her collar. For the price, this is a nice collar. The colors were not quite as vivid as they are in the picture, just a tiny bit faded.
