I have several of these. They are my dog's favorite--well, almost favorite--toy. I use them to give her her breakfast kibble. I load them up and hide them around the house for her to find. I can hear when she finds one because she dances and swings it around her head for a minute and then I hear the velcro rip. Sometimes there are little cookies and/or pieces of jerky treats in there, too. That really gets her going and she sometimes leaves the kibbles and rushes to find the other toy. When they have all been uncovered, she comes back and gathers her kibble.

I think the rip works better than the tug. A couple of these have lost their rope tug. I don't know if everybody would have that trouble, though. My girl is a pit bull and a world-class tugger.
