These are the best treats for dogs on the market! My dog loves them long after the marrow is gone. These do not splinter or break off, with a medium size dog anyway, not sure about a large dog. There are larger deer and elk antlers for larger dogs. My friend has a huge one that she says has lasted forever. There is no mess as with regular dog bones. Much better for your dog than boxed, manufactured treats. All natural, sustainable, renewable source. They are a little pricey, but will last longer than a full large box or bag of manufactured treats. I have only given my dog a new one when I get tired of looking at the old one. There is no odor. They are truly hypoallergenic. There is no down side to these antlers. As I said I have a medium size dog, and get the splits. The splits are as they sound, an antler that has been sliced in half. There are whole antlers, but the bone is so tough that I don't think that my dog would be able to get to the marrow. Also great gift for any dog owner! You can tell them the story about how good they are for the dog, hypoallergenic, that these are what falls off of the deer and elk every year, so that they may grow new ones. Better than anything else on the market!

I was going to give 3 stars because what I received were very different antlers one was emptied of the inside 'marrow' in 10 minutes while the other is holding it's own. I have two very aggressive chewers so I was somewhat disappointed in the one that 'disappeared' fast.I ended up giving 4 stars because the size was as expected alot of large or jumbo antlers just end up being too small or short. These were a really good price and as described.

I have a little miniature schnauzer puppy, he chewed on a bone for a couple hours and there was nothing left for him to chew on anymore. Too costly to purchase again. I bought the first bones, and they were defiantly worth the money, but not the second 2 bones, which were long but I doubt if they were 1" thick.
