I have a 30 G fish tank full of fancy guppies, and they go crazy for the Hikari Bio-Pure Brine Shrimp. It is as though they can smell it, or see me coming, and they are like hungry sharks when I head for them with the jar of Brine Shrimp. I know when my jar gets low, I'll have to resupply myself, or my fish will suffer depression. Not really.. Seriously, my fish seem to enjoy being fed this product. It smells great too!

I feed this to my Jack Dempsey and he loves it. Wont eat anything else. I also noticed he grew quicker and looks healthier.

Awesome food product.

Only con is if the fish doesn't eat it within 2-3 seconds it will disintegrate and look like saw dust. Not really an issue for me because when I pick the food container up my fish is sitting at the top waiting for it to hit the surface.

I've tried other brands of brine shrimp before, but never have I seen fish go so crazy when something drops into the water.

I'm not sure what it is, but when I fed this to my tetras, they almost ignored it. I guess it'll take them a while to get used to the new food, being fed fish flakes for the 3 months I've had them. My filter isn't working, so the brine shrimp pieces didn't get much attention. They mostly only eat fish food when it starts sinking to the bottom of the tank (when the food is mid-level, the tetras act like a torpedo going after the food). Overall, I think that this was a good buy for my tetras and soon to be in the tank guppies, especially if I have to only buy this once a month, although, to be honest, I wish that there was a subscription option so I don't have to continue visiting Amazon to order this every month and I can rely on the shrimp to get here fast so I don't run out and the tetras become staved. .

I don't know what it is about this stuff, maybe because its soft (I think the bloodworms I also bought are too big/hard for him), but my betta now won't eat anything else I put in the tank. He just waits for this stuff. The little brat. They come in big cubes, so for the betta you have to pinch off a little bit. Also, he'e been eating only this for a month and I the can is still 3/4s full.
