This one fell under the same woes as most other antlers: barely big enough for the description and expensive! The description said 6-7" and mine was BARELY 6" if the string was pulled tightly along the length of the antler. Technically speaking it was accurate, but it was a disappointment. As my dog is becoming more and more of an antler aficionado I can see that to get a good size antler will not come cheap, and the price usually reflects the size...

I didn't realize until recently that antler "toughness" varies by breed. This antler was small enough and soft enough that my diligent chewer had it gnawed down to a dangerous (choking hazard) size within 2 days. We had to take it away from her so she didn't simply try to eat the remainder. I'll go with harder antlers, now that I know.Buy Prairie Dog Regular Deer Antler Dog Chew Now
My dogs really, really love these antlers! and they are really big which was my surprise! I couldn't get them out of the box fast enough for my furbabies. Now, everyone is chewing happily. all natural, will not splinter, does not smellhours of fun in one small package
I bought several of varying size and shapeI have a chocolate lab that can chew through anything. Stuffed toys last 5 minutes or less, and hard rubber toys such as the Kong last about a week. I don't like rawhide because of the bloat, and hooves tend to stink when she chews on them. These last about two weeks before she gets them down to a nub, and there is no odor at all. It satisfies her urge to chew and keeps her entertained. If you have a dog that won't let a toy live for more than a day, these are for you. They are a little on the pricey side, but they are a great product.
