The selling point for me was that these are source and made in the USA. I had read some info about the processing of rawhide chews and bones if the "parts" were shipped outside the USA that made me not want to give them to my dog. Meat products can mold in transit over long distances for processing, and the steps to be taken to bleach the mold discoloration and kill the spores is scary. These are carefully selected by farm and sourced and made in the USA. My dog LOVES these. She's a small Beagle, and one of these lasts here a week of on and off chewing. She gets a new one every Friday evening. First she strips off the meaty parts; next she bites and chews on the edges of the bones; lastly she eats as much of the marrow in the large, open ends as she can. By the next week, she's ready for a new one. They are pricey, for me, anyway, but I buy a few at a time to round out an order to get the free shipping. Good product.
