These are small shrimp. I break up one krill shrimp in the AM and one in the PM. My small pond frog gobbles them up . A product of Canada. Crude Protein: 61.5%, Crude Fat 18%, Crude Ash 16%, Crude Fiber 2.5%.

Ok, it's dried little shrimpie-things. Whales eat it. Our rainbow eel eats it every other day and seems happy and healthy. Price is right. Smells like low tide, so you don't have to worry about toddlers eating it (we think). What's not to like?

I've used freeze dried krill before for a large reef setup. I just have a small 20 gallon tank for my puffer now. These krill smell disgusting. The ones I used previously had almost no smell after rehydrating them similar to fresh krill. These smell like they were left out too long before being freeze dried. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because of the low price and the fact that my puffer seems to love them, although I'm a little concerned about feeding them to him.

I have NEVER (since raising them from fingerlings) seen my nishikigoi react to a food like this! If you threw a line in the water with one of these shrimp on the end of it, you'd think you had a 5 lb bass on the line instead of a half-pound carp. This stuff is awesome and arrived super-fresh. Looking forward to utilizing it when the fish hit breeding age. I'll try and post a video of the 'feeding frenzy' asap!

The description says "Product Dimensions: 5 x 2.5 x 2.5 inches ; 3.2 ounces " makes you think you are buying a 3.2 ounce jar, it's only 1 oz. Very very upset. If it wasn't for local pet shops not selling this I'd demand a refund and ship this falsely described item back.
