I ordered the 4-piece package of the buffalo paddywack (made of bison neck meat) to compare it with the buffalo toothpick (made of bison tendon), both of which are produced by Canine Caviar. These were high quality, thick pieces of hard dehydrated neck meat and are intended as a chew treat for you dog. They have minimal smell, especially when compared to bully sticks or the bison tails. It took my two dogs (50-60 lb mixed breeds) about 10 and 15 minutes each to chew and eat these. This is the same amount of time that it takes them to chew down the tendons, which are much cheaper (approximately $0.60 compared with $1.10 each). If these were reduced in price to be a better value, I would order both for variety.

Our puppy enjoys chewing on these and the best part is NO MESSY RESIDUE LEFT BEHIND. I appreciate how it is chewed cleanly. It also did not upset our dogs digestive system or make him thirsty as some chews do.

These paddywacks are actually dried pieces of buffalo neck meat. Paddywack seems like a nicer name though, huh? Regardless, they last longer than most chews, and my puppy loves them! They have a slight smell, but they don't smell anywhere near as badly as bully sticks. They also don't make her sick, like some other chews. As soon as she sees me pull one of these out of the bag, she goes nuts. They are great chews to keep her occupied, and are all-natural. I highly recommend this brand!

Petmate 54903 Wobbling Treatball Dog Toy, Lime/Aqua

Customer Ratings:

Ok, I am going to write first from my dog's perception of this toy. She is not interested in this treat toy, even with treats inside. She has 5 hidden treat toys that I change out frequently. Her favorite is a round ball that she rolls all over to get the treats out. She learned how to get the treats out right away from all of the toys, but she enjoys the challenge of the round ball because it takes longer for the treats to fall out.

Now, my opinion: It looked good, and felt sturdy when I got it. But in 5 minutes, it came totally apart, and, also, the sliding door where the treats are hidden is so loose it slides open the minute the toy is moved, and dumps all the treats out at once. Not a good choice of design. I would get a different toy. Sorry....

Buster Interactive Food Maze Feeder- Slow Eat Engaging Meal or Treat Dispenser

I have been using this bowl with my Shih Tzu for a few days. I work at a dog food store and have watched a beagle and lab mix use it as well. The other two dogs seem to be able to do the puzzle a bit more easily, as they can get the treat/food out with their tongues. My Shih Tzu doesn't have a long enough nose for that, but can still use her paws to get the food out. I use it for her entire meal and it takes her 5 minutes to get 1/4 cup out.

I'm sure this doesn't happen to every dog but it made my yellow lab choke, gag, and vomit even more than usual. He was just excited and frustrated and it caused him to swallow a lot of air.

Plus the design is a little silly having openings on two ends so it limits where you can put it near a wall or any other obstruction. I should also point out that this thing is huge; easily twice as big as a normal dog bowl.

This has slowed the "Wild One" down tremendously before I got this bowl, he would have inhaled all his food before I could put the other two dogs' dishes down. He's now discovered that you actually "chew" the food and the other two dogs are happy to be able to eat their food without the "Wild One" pacing impatiently for them to finish so he can look for any leftovers.

I have a 5 month old Golden Retriever who inhales his food, and has some digestive problems. I had some success putting his food in a big red Kong, but he would scatter food all over the kitchen, and the cats would inevitably get to some of it. Dog food makes cats smell bad!

Enter the maze--it keeps the puppy busy for a good 10 minutes. The food stays off the floor (mostly) and the maze stays in one place. The puppy LOVES it, and it is easy to wash in the dishwasher.

I was looking for something anything, really that would stop my dog from gulping down her food as if she were trying to inhale it with just one bite. I used to feed her 2 cups of food at each meal, and she'd have it totally gone in 30 seconds (no joke). I spoke to my vet about it and she recommended this bowl but I just wasn't willing to pay the amount of money that my vet wanted for it. When I found it on Amazon for 10 dollars cheaper, I immediately ordered it.

I recieved this bowl today and it took her almost 10 minutes to eat all of her food and it was fantastic! I know she's not a giant breed, but I still worry about bloat due to her fast eating. Now, I don't have to worry about it.

Ok, it's dried little shrimpie-things. Whales eat it. Our rainbow eel eats it every other day and seems happy and healthy. Price is right. Smells like low tide, so you don't have to worry about toddlers eating it (we think). What's not to like?

P.S. not required, but suggest you reconstitute before feeding.

I've used freeze dried krill before for a large reef setup. I just have a small 20 gallon tank for my puffer now. These krill smell disgusting. The ones I used previously had almost no smell after rehydrating them similar to fresh krill. These smell like they were left out too long before being freeze dried. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because of the low price and the fact that my puffer seems to love them, although I'm a little concerned about feeding them to him.

I have NEVER (since raising them from fingerlings) seen my nishikigoi react to a food like this! If you threw a line in the water with one of these shrimp on the end of it, you'd think you had a 5 lb bass on the line instead of a half-pound carp. This stuff is awesome and arrived super-fresh. Looking forward to utilizing it when the fish hit breeding age. I'll try and post a video of the 'feeding frenzy' asap!

Because the only ingredients are turkey, water, liver and guar gum, this food should be used as a supplement, not as a pet's sole food, as it is not nutritionally complete.

STELLA & CHEWY'S 860097 Carnivore Kisses Salmon Dog & Cat Treats, .65-Ounce

Today's Bonus:

I love Stella & Chewy's and have been feeding their Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried Raw Duck Duck Goose Dinner for Dogs, 16oz as well as their frozen raw and other flavors to my Shiba Inu puppy and she LOVES it! Ever since my vet recommended the brand for finicky eaters, I've been giving it to Monju (mixed with dry kibble).

Anyway, STELLA & CHEWY'S CARNIVORE KISSES SALMON (the Stella & Chewy's Carnivore Kisses, Freeze-Dried Raw Angus Beef Dog and Cat Treats are the same way) are of the same top quality as their meals. They're small, but not bite size (unless you have a big dog), freeze-dried pieces of salmon that's great for giving as treats. They have that strong fishy-scent that dogs love, so your furry child will be able to find them with no problem.

The reason I took off one-star is because the treats are hard to break apart. Since they're freeze-dried, when trying to break into smaller pieces the KISSES will splinter and shred, which makes it hard to give a small quick bite for a reward during training. Even if you were to break them apart before hand, the treats still shred so it's hard to get small bite sized pieces.

Also, if your pooch is able to get the whole treat in his/her mouth, it still has to be chewed, taking time away from focus, if you're using as a training aid. Other than that the treats are great.

My cat loves these things. She eschews her regular food and meows till I give her more salmon. I've tried other brands and she wants nothing to do with them. This is the only one that will do. On the other hand, I got the first tub of this because my friend's cats didn't like it, but they've liked the cast off brands my cat didn't want.

I recently purchased some 'Stella & Chewy's Salmon Carnivore Kisses', just to fill up an order to receive a free shipping promo code. Boy o' boy, was that ever a surprise for the three of us. These pups must think that they've died and gone over the 'Rainbow Bridge', or sumthin'. Charley, who has always refused to sit up and do any tricks--ever--will now sit up and beg for these 'Salmon Kisses'. They must be for him, what 'Chocolate Kisses' are for me. We both have the same reaction, Love 'Em! Now I've gone and done it. More expensive, wholesome treats for my two rescue-luv pups. At least I know that these divine treats won't cause any tummy upsets or skin allergies to emerge. Well worth the expense to save them from a nerve-wracking, miserable trip to the vet's, due to my ignorant indulgence with cheaply processed treats. We get what we pay for--Always!

I love these treats for my 8 lb lhaso poo! I buy all four varieties, put them through the food processor and add them to her dry food. She likes all of the flavors, although the beef doesn't shred as well as the others. I think the price is reasonable considering they are all meat (no fillers/additives), but then again, I'm only buying for one small dog.

We rescued two 5-month old Miniature Schnauzers and, of course, we wanted to feed them the food that would meet all the requirements needed for growing puppies. I went on the internet to find the guidelines as to the levels needed for healthy bones, skin, teeth, etc. I checked the ingredients of all the major dog foods such as Iams, Science Diet, Eucaneuba and none had the recommended dosage. When I searched "Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul", the ingredients and percentages matched exactly to what was recommended. If you don't have your puppy on Chicken Soup, please do so and you will find your puppy is happier and healthier!

I spent hours on the internet and in the pet store researching dog food brands and labels. I was shocked to see just what the "grocery store brands" put in their food. I found corn as the first ingredient, chicken meal and chicken by products as the first on the list. I found this food and was impressed by the types of whole meats that are in it. I compared label after label of the $ dog food to this. It is pretty much the same. I compared it to Innova amd Merrick etc. I am so impressed with the results. My Puppies stool is nice and formed and there's alot less of it too. It seems that his body is using much more out of this food intead of passing it. Also, he eats this dry wothout a problem. I used to have to add a wet food to his "grocery store" food.

Buy Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul Dry Food, Chicken Formula, 18 Pound Bag Now

I started my litter of puppies on this food because of the ingredient list. No fillers! I have become a fan of this brand and now purchase the adult formula for my labs. They love the kibble and maintain a healthy weight. I can't say enough about this product; I now use their canned food as well to supplement the kibble. I like to eat only wholesome food myself, and after reading, "Food Your Pets Die For," I am committed to feeding my dogs only holistic food like the Chicken Soup brand. Some major brands of pet foods, like Iams, also does lab testing on animals. A cruel, unnecessary method of testing new ingredients.

My last lab died of cancer and I believe most commercial pet foods with the GMO fillers and meat by-products are a major contributor to her death and the increase in pet cancers overall. Do your pet a favor and stay with foods with real meat as their first ingredient, an NO CORN! Wild canines would never touch an ear of corn!

This is a great leash! It is retractable, has a built in water bottle, a dish to serve it in and a place for bags. It even has a wrist band so that you don't have to hold onto the leash when you are pouring the water and the leash glows in the dark! They have thought of just about everything. Even the length is pretty good if your dog likes extra room to frolic in the grass as you walk. The only improvements I could suggest would be to make it slightly smaller at the top if possible and to have a feature on the leash to either temporarily keep the leash from extending by manually holding down the mechanism or locking it in place. Right now it only locks in place and then you have to manually release it. Other than that, it is just what I was looking for and I hope they keep making it.

This makes walking to dog so much easier. Before I would always forget the waste bags, but now I always have them and always need them. The water bottle is good too on hot days. The only negative is the length of the leash and its very thin.

My girlfriend and I were excited to buy this for the summer walking season having bags and water bottle along with us for our corgi was a much anticipated feature

The second I picked it up today I was worried the whole unit was extremely light and cheap feeling but knowing heft is not nessisarily an indication of quality we gave it a shot

This product lasted less than 1 full use our corgi simply walked (yes walked NOT ran) out to the end of the lead and you heard the spring break and it no longer retracts after completely normal use and no hard handling

Will not be purchasing a similar product

This leash is great! My dog does not like the heat and having the water right on board is wonderful. We stop in the shade and I pour some water for her and she drinks it right out of the little bowl and then off we go. It's very comfortable to hold and operate too. My only thought would be to make the actual leash a little thicker if possible. It seems to get twisted a lot and since I have a 60 pound brindle female pit who is very very strong it would be nice to have. It is nice now not to have her yanking my shoulder out when she finds something interesting to sniff I can just press the button and she gets her few extra feet of freedom. Great invention. Would highly recommend.
