My blind dog loves this puzzle! However the pink floppy door was broken on it's second use. It got flipped by the dog's nose quite gently in fact and the pieces flew off of the toy. There were only little wooden toothpick like things holding the door in place not even glued in. That door is not at all well made in my opinion. We still use the puzzle but that one door should be redesigned. I am not sure this wood used would hold up to a larger dog. Thus gets a two from me. CB

What can I say? I came across this puzzle and thought my 6 year old beagle would love this! I ordered it and as soon as it arrived I opened it and put some treats in it for him to try and get out. He was having a great time trying to figure out what to flip and what to slide in order to find his treats. Well after about two minutes the wood started chipping and ripping right off the top from where he was using his paws to try and move the pegs. He was not being rough with it, he had just figured out what he needed to do and knew using his paws instead of his nose would get him faster results. Well after one 4 minute play session, the thing went in the garbage. It was ruined. There was no paint left on the top and the wood was so thin and cheap that it was breaking apart and chipping. I'm usually a fan of Zanies products, but this one, not so much.

The dog is supposed to use paws and mouth to open up compartments to find treats. Our puppy is small and loves toys. We had the Slide and Seek for 3 days. Day one, dog was allowed to use it for 10 minutes in the morning while supervised and enjoyed the toy, but left teethmarks on all the cheaply made knobs. Later that day, 10 minutes again, the dog bit a piece off of the large sliding knob. Day two, 5 minutes, the dog completely pulled off a knob. The knobs are glued in and only recessed 1/4 of an inch. Very easy to pull off. Choking hazzard do not purchase!! Day 3, returned for full refund.

A puzzle that entertained my dog for a short time, but didnt make her wild with enthusiasm to play with it. She learns quickly, so it was a quick playtime toy. I bring it out every couple weeks, and she gets the treats.. but doesnt wag her tail to play with it. That is how I am judging my 3 star review.

It's durable enough for my 6-lb yorkipoo. The first time, it took him about an hour to figure it all out--a couple of hours if you count the time he spent trying to get me to do it for him. Now that he knows how it all works, he removes all the treats in about 90 seconds or so, and then starts in on me to to load it up so he can do it again. The game lasts until I've decided he's had enough treats for one day.
