I was hesitant at first to buy these on line for my Lab. I read other reviews and they mentioned how big the ears were and how much their pet loved them. I ordered 10 bags. All were pretty much the same size allowing my Lab to enjoy them longer than the other brand I bought. Rawhide doesn't compare to these cow ears. Every bag was consistant in size, fresh and crisp. I recommend these ears to anyone with dogs 40 lbs. or larger.

When I got my dog he was eating everything in the house and getting sick from it. I decided to give him rawhide treats of all kinds as it was better than shoes, slippers, the fly swat, and a washrag. However, I discovered cow ears and really like them. They are thin and I think much better for a doggy stomach than thick rawhide. Though I do like the super big rawhide bones, because they get played with more than eaten. I didn't give this product 5 stars because there are deep smoked cow ears that are available and my dog prefers the super smoked ones. Of course the advantage of the white cow ears is that they last longer and that's a good thing.

The ears were fine but they did lack the curly knot on the ends. This is how my little shih-tzu's hold them to chew. They were clean and large! I would say great for larger breeds. The price was good so I can't complain. I like the fact they are not coated with anything. They did not fade on the carpet or smell. So I would recommend them just be ready to cut for the smaller breeds.

I have senior dogs who's ability to chew 'treats' is diminishing. These are great for them; very clean, thin, and no odor. Almost all of the large, tough base cartilage has been removed. Plus, these are big enough that you can actually cut them in half ( with garden pruners) so that 1 ear makes 2 chewies. SSSHHHH, don't tell my girls that I am doing this! Now I ordered this product but they shipped me product that was in the same box from my previous order, but the cookies were a different shape and smelled stale and nasty. I am so disappointed that I was totally scammed. To make matters worse I cannot even return this horrible product. My dog wont even go near the cookie, because they smell horrible.

I am so disappointed with Amazon because I now have to take the hit for a s***** product and not mention I feel cheated. I just lost $17.

This vegan and gluten-free dog snack is phenomenal. The real ground ginger is the gift. You may find ginger flavor but no real ginger. This product is the real thing.

The Ginger fixed my dogs stomach problems every time so far. I have even fed it to him when he was ready to get sick on the floor. Since many dogs would eat in this condition of nausea it is the cure.

Be sure the dog is not dry heaving or heaving at all before you give the dog a treat/ medicine. If the dog is heaving there is some strong air inhaling and giving the dog a dose could get the treat in the lungs. This could cause a number of problems; most of which are serious.

Eventually the dog will equate the ginger smell with feeling better. They are smart; and the dog will relax enough for you to give him a piece or 2.

These come in a resealable bag which I think shows some extra attention to detail on the part of the manufacturer/packager. My dog doesn't like these quite as much as she enjoys bull pizzles but YMMV. They do shatter off little pieces. By the time the pieces come off they tend to be soft, and they are generally small enough that my large dog could probably swallow them with no problems I'm sure she swallows more food than that at one gulp all the time. However, I watch and take away the pieces anyways just in case. Even if you didn't, having little pieces of trachea on the floor is not ideal. So the 4 stars aren't a reflection on the manufacturer, just the nature of the product.

I've done hours and hours of homework on high quality, grain-free dog foods. From product analysis, kcal analysis, ingredients, customer reviews, professional reviews, company recalls all of it... I have become a mini-expert in the field.

I was pushed into becoming an expert because my yellow Lab kept having seizures and I couldn't figure out the source. I finally learned it was her food, which was the most expensive store bought brand my local Sams Warehouse carries. I thought I was giving her the best, it looked fresh and rich, but it turns out it was just absolutely terrible food. My black Lab also had terrible skin allergies, to the point where I would get a small rash on my skin if he laid next to me on the couch for more than 5 minutes at a time. I had no clue it was because of the food. But it was!

Since having that epiphany and learning so much about dog food, I've always made sure to feed them the highest quality grain free food I can buy. This Taste of the Wild (TOTW) fits the bill very nicely, and they love it. Since switching to a grain free diet, the yellow lab has not had any more seizures in over a year, and the black lab has the silkiest coat you've ever seen and his skin allergies are completely gone.

They are on 2/3rds dry and 1/3rd wet combination. Contrary to what I had previously been raised to believe, a wet diet is not bad for dogs but in fact is superior! I use the combination to save money while providing them the best I can.

Before deciding on TOTW, I had also tried Blue Buffalo, Wellness Core, and Orijen. Briefly: they are all good foods, but my labs were happiest on TOTW and my wallet is also happiest on TOTW. I also believe TOTW has a better formulation for them and their life style (some of the products, like Orijen, are simply too rich for the average household dog, despite being made of the best ingredients available).

Enter TOTW. The dry food is dark and rich, with no sign of crumbling. The kibble is a good average size. The wet food has nice chunks of meat and the right amount of gravy. I use the wet food as a topper to mix the 2/3rd dry and 1/3rd wet together for their meals. I use one whole can of wet per meal with my pack, which is convinient so I don't have to store it in the refrigerator btw, never store canned dog food in the fridge in the original aluminum container!

I still wish I could find a less expensive product with the same quality, but in the mean time, TOTW is the best choice for my pack.

My dog was having a lot of digestive problems with her old food and I started researching online for a good quality one. I started giving her Taste of the Wild around a month ago. I mix her dry food (same brand and flavor)mixed with 2 Tbsp of the wet food and I can tell she loves it! Her bowl movements are now perfect (if you can say that about them), twice a day, formed and easy to pick up.

One important thing to mention is that this food has lower calories than your regular food, so read the label and find out how many cups or cans you need to give your dog... and adjust if necessary!

Not trying to start an online debate, but I fear the previous 2-star review is discouraging many consumers from buying this product for no good reason. I have been feeding my dogs Holistic Select for about a year after switching from Purina Beneful (which IS one of the unhealthy dog foods referred to in the 2-star review). I have seen noticeable improvement in their coat, skin, muscle mass and energy levels, not to mention more consistent and less waste matter. Those who read the above review, please do your own research before taking this reviewer for their word. Holistic Select is most definitely a premium dog food. I completed quite a bit of research between Holistic Select, Orijen and Lotus brand dog foods, and though Orijen proved to have higher protein content (which is best for most breeds), I decided on Holistic Select Lamb because my Dalmatian requires lower protein due to an inadequate ability to process purines which results in kidney stone formation.

So, to those reading, yes the above review is extremely accurate for most retail store brand dog foods, (even when marked "natural"), but I would not classify Holistic Select in the same category as those. Do your research. The Dog Food Advisor () is a great place to start comparing dog food brands. A food description and ingredient breakdown is provided for each brand listed, along with a 1-5 star rating. After reading the review about the change of ingredients, I contacted Holistic Select to double check the information and they clearly state that there are no pork products in this food. The only change they made was to add canola oil as a secondary fat source. Here is the list of ingredients that they sent to me:

You might want to consider some other venue for your [yes, justifiable] rant on conventional dog foods...but please don't leave a low rating here when you aren't even referring to this product. This is an excellent dog food with high-quality ingredients and does not deserve your "wrathful" generalizations. It has changed my mini-schnauzer's life...no more itching, biting, or scratching from allergies, and no GI problems or loose stools [unless she gets into the cat food.] She likes the duck version the best, has almost stopped begging for human food, and we have gotten her quickly back to her ideal weight. She will eat a few kibbles at a time now--like she is enjoying and savoring her food--instead of just sucking it down like a Hoover. I am inclined to attribute that to the nutritional value of this food and its ability to actually supply her body with what it needs.

Holistic Select Radiant Adult Health, Lamb Meal Dry Dog Food came highly recommended by our Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder. The man has done extensive research to find the best dog food available for the breed he so dearly loves and in his opinion this dog food is IT.

We first started our dog out on the 'LARGE $ GIANT BREED" puppy food by Holistic Select and around age 8-9 months we switched to the adult version. We serve this dog food twice a day with warm water and add a fish oil capsule and probiotics to it. With his dinner our dog also gets 1 tbs of canned Holistic Select as a special treat.

Our Rhodesian Ridgeback is a happy and content dog, his coat looks awesome and up to now he never has had any problems with his digestion.

Being able to buy this large bag of dog food at Amazon is awesome and a great deal. The cheapest I can find this dog food in a local store is $50 and then I have to drive to and from the store and haul the big bag myself. Thank to Amazon this huge bag is now delivered at my doorstep.

Athena my toy fox terrier was having a lot of problems with chewing on her feet, course hair and noisy scratching just after she turned two. She had always shed a lot. If you wore a black shirt her white hair would cover you. If you wore a white one her 3 inch patch of black fur was enough to cover you in black fur. I was about to make a vet appt. for the chewing and itching. I stopped at a dog food store and was just going to pick up a good dog brush for the shedding. The salesman asked what was wrong and then guided me to this food. She didn't love it at first but loved the dog treats. I think the treats hooked her on the food. No more chewing after about a week. Hardly no scratching and her shedding is less then 1/4 of what it used to be. Not to mention people now comment on how soft she is. I love this food. However for a dog that has NEVER had bad breath she now has fish breath. Thus the four stars.

This was for a small puppy (Chihuahua), so the review will reflect this.

Packaging The item was folded flat and wrapped in clear plastic bag. This was shipped inside a FedEx cardboard box (making note of this if it is going to be a present).

Item Quality The material that was used was durable, the color (redish pink) was perfect for my daughter, the zipper pull came off the first few times of using the zipper (you have to pull hard to zip it up) although this was fixed by putting the zipper pull back in place and using pliers to secure it better to the zipper.

Item Usability This is not to replace a crate when traveling long distances in a vehicle, this is best suited for carrying the dog out in public. The bottom has a hard piece that you insert, this keeps the bottom shape while carrying, but the sides do not having anything to keep them steady (the material does a good job of keeping them upright) so you can squueze the dog if your not careful.

Value Compared to the carriers from local pet retail stores, this was an excellent price and most carriers I saw locally where canvas type material, I liked the heavy material of this item.

Size While I am not an expert on dog carrier size needs, I would suggest that only smaller dogs use this.

Item Accessories This item has a pocket on the side of the carrier and a small bag that you can attach to the carrier or strap (this carrier has standard handles and. To carry a few small treats and couple of plastic bags for waste we found the attached small bag to be more useful than the side pocket (for both space available and ease of open/closing).

I am satisfied with this product, I would recommend to others to purchase.

Before buying this product, I was reading through a lot of the reviews to get an idea about what the general concerns were. To be honest, I love this product. I've had no zipper problems, the bag does a decent job of maintaining its shape, and it looks great!

I have a 7.5 lbs mini-dachshund and he loves it in there. The minute I opened the bag up, he ran straight in! Note that the bag is a little smaller than what the traditional definition of "medium" is. My little boy would be cramped if he didn't sleep like a doughnut.

If people mean this as a permanent home for their pet or as a bag to use for toting their furry friend around a lot, I would recommend getting something a little more durable. But if your objective is to have something functionable and fashionable, this is the way to go.

I ordered this crate for my 13 year old Yorkie who is only 5 pounds. When I visit people and stay overnight, I need a secure place for her. I was immediately attracted to this crate because it looked soft and comfortable. Well, it is. I am so pleased that there are no rough or pointy edges, the entire crate is made out of soft material, and with all of the screened openings, it's light inside. What I like about the Lafeber Nutri-Berries is that the company really takes the well being of our feathered babies very seriously. In nature, parrots, cockatiels, parakeets spend the majority of their day foraging for food. They have to work to eat. In captivity most birds are fed a diet of millet, sunflower, safflower, by their owners. Luckily the Lafeber company (and others) research and do their best to educate bird owners in regards to diet and quality of life. Nutri-Berries is a great product especially if you have smaller hookbills . Nutri Berries should be given as a portion (not the only thing) along with fruits and veggies. I find that my guys have always enjoyed carrots-especially the tops, apples, cooked pasta, different types of lettuce(no iceberg has no nutritional value). I thought this 'no refrigeration' Eye Envy would be okay to use on my cat, a persian whose eyes get sticky stuff pretty regularly. Unfortunately this stuff had no effect on her poor little eyesthe lower lids stayed red, the discharge became red and thick and sticky, and had a 'yeasty' smell. I have since gone back to using the Eye Envy that has to be kept in the 'fridge, purchased directly from Eye Envy. After 3 uses of the Original Eye Envy her eyes are perfectly beautiful, and I can keep them that way. My advice: Stick to the stuff that really works. My cat had to suffer until I realized what was going on and went back to using Original Eye Envy. Your cat or dog doesn't have to, because you have my word that the product I'm reviewing-'Eye Envy no refrigeration required', does not work. At all. Don't waste your money. Get the original formula.

UPDATE 12/7/2012: After returning to the original, 'refrigerate' formula for cats, Mimi's beautiful eyes have had ZERO red gunk, no painful squinting, no itching. I have a white Persian cat. As many of you well know, there is a constant upkeep in keeping their eyes clean. If you don't your little guy/girl will get those black/red stains that are more than difficult to get out. I tried every product on the market and then found Eye Envy. I use it everyday and my cat's eyes are healthy without stains. The before and after photos they show on their website are absolutely true. My cat no longer squints and has much less tearing.

You must use the product regularly and as the directions state. Just doing it once it a while will produce no results.

My flame-point Himmy (an almost white cat) had real tear stain issues. It was soaking into her fur and I was having a terrible time getting the stains out for a show. This product, used in combination with the Angel Eyes (I put the Angel Eyes in capsules due to the terrible taste) has her looking much, much better. Thank you and bravo!

I was pleased with the results on my two white persians. They are so beautiful without eye stains. Maintenance is forever and that does seem pricey. I am not sure why you can apply only with the eye envy pads, but this may be to keep the liquid from breaking down.

If I could afford only one part of the kit, I would buy the powder.

My goal was cleanliness, not just surface beauty. I like the antibiotic aspect so the cats are less likely to develop infections.
