After using the vets liquid for passing the worms 3 different times, 3 weeks apart, I ordered this. Dosage for my 40 lb shepherd lab mix was 3 pills. I gave her 3 and no sign of worms after. I gave her the remaining 2 pills 3 weeks later just as a little boost but don't think I needed to. She eats everything. I think she ate worms that she had excreted (yes, yuck!) and this is why she kept reinfecting herself. This doesn't pass the worms, it digests them. Effective for a poop eating mutt like mine. My cat was adopted from Humane Society as an adult. She demonstrated signs of allergies by excessive grooming that created red bare spots. I've always half-joked that I have a bulimic cat... she throws up just about every day, often right after eating. I bought this after seeing recommendations from people whose cats had digestive problems. My maine coon had the same problem and being long hair her soft stool issue wasn't pretty. My bottle feed kitten has suffered from loose or runny stools for his whole life after being weaned off the bottle. We have tried many high dollar foods and all types of sensitive stomach foods. My dog is an older dog, and I bought these treats for her in order to perhaps help her with her stiff joints. Within a few days of giving her these treats, my dog started having seizures. At first we weren't sure what might be causing them because she had never had a seizure before. The seizures increased, and we took her to the vet. The vet couldn't find anything wrong with her that might be causing the seizures. About two months after beginning the treats, I determined that this was the only variable as the seizures had started soon after. We stopped giving them to her as soon as we made the connection and the seizures stopped right away and she hasn't had one since. I don't know why these treats affected her this way, but I would strongly suggest that people stay away from these treats. Seeing your beloved pet go through something like this is very upsetting, but it is even more upsetting knowing that it happened because of something I gave her.
