Yes, the dogs like the smell, and well us humans not so much. I cut open the plastic bag, dumped the bones in the box from Amazon and sat the box in the sun for the afternoon. Odor pretty much gone. Thought it may help some other customers that like the bones too. I also like that they are thicker than others lasts longer.

The dogs loved themwhich is most important. I have an elderly German shepherd and a 1 yr old puggle (pug-beagle mix) who aggressively chews everything. Both dogs would finish one in one sitting, but it keeps the puggle from eating the rest of my house.

There were 7 sticks in the packagesome thicker than others.

Some odorbut I haven't bought enough other bully sticks to know if this is the norm.

A normal bully stick will cost you $7 at Petsmart or Petco. This product comes with 7 in a bag which is a pretty good deal but they dont last very long and they smell terrible. The dog loves them and keeps her occupied which is the real reason why we get these but certainly some would say its not worth the stench. Pew Pew Pew, stop saying Pew.

These were on sale for about fourteen bucks so I opted to purchase these to compare with the awfully smelly braided ones also recently purchased. These were more expensive, unbraided with no detectable smell whatsover. As I type this, my dog hasn't done anything with the bull stick since he accepted the new treat. So my search continues as this batch from Brazil haven't piqued my dog's interest at all.

My dog loves these. She has food allergies so there are not many treats I can give to her. It's very unfortunate that the price increased to more than 3 times the price I first bought them at about two months ago. I can't afford this. I hope the company reconsiders as I don't believe too many people will be able to afford these. It's very possible that Ferrera Farms may price themselves right out of business.
