I have two large mixed breeds, my mastiff mix loved this toy. He can generally chew up a toy in minutes but it took him 3 days of nearly constant play for him to get the rawhide out of this toy and he is still carrying around and chewing on the plastic shell. There is no smell or sticky mess. I am very happy with this toy.

Love the concept of making the rawhide chews last longer, but not enough of the rawhide exposed so the dogs can get to it and they lose interest. Please revise this item, as I am not happy with it as it is, but a revision would make me and my dogs very happy.
