I was looking for a dog chew for a labrador retriever puppy, and bought this on a whim. It turned out to be a favorite of the dog, and it is the one chew toy that is always in her crate. It also is the one chew toy that always goes with her whenever she is kenneled--sort of her 'security blanket.' This does wear out after a while (eventually one of the ends will get largely chewed off, which is the time to replace it), and I couldn't find it in any of our local pet stores. Since this is now the one vital toy for her, I ended up finding it through Amazon and ordered several. I have since found an independent pet store that carries it.

So if you are looking for a durable chew toy that will keep your dog's interest, and the Nylabone isn't doing it, you may definitely want to give this a try.

This is a great buy. My Cavalier chews on this without destroying. She puts her paws on the T side to hold it. We find ourselves saying"Get your Texas T bone!!"

I have two dogs that are on the smaller size. One is a little over 18lbs and the other is close to 30. Both dogs really love this chew and I feel good about it because, it is helping to keep their teeth clean. My Bailey the 30lb Cockapoo can be a chewer and is good at destroying toys. Neither dog has managed to crack this one or break it. This is a good toy for tough chewers and they seem to love the flavor! (We have the medium sized one because, I felt the small one was too small and might not be safe.)
