This product is exactly what the vet gave my dog, Teddy, for OVER THREE TIMES THE PRICE ($33). *#%*&@!^%#*!&@#%^

She gave 2 pills of Virbantel 30 mg for my 19 lb. dog. Virbantel is 30 mg of pyrantel pamoate and 30 mg of praziquantel. The box for this Worm Away product lists the active ingredients as 30 mg of pyrantel pamoate and 30 mg of praziquantel. And its only $10! Not sure if the two different pills work differently, but if the ingredients are the same (type and amount), I'm sure it would work just the same.

I am so angry I overpaid, but like my boyfriend said: it's an investment and now you know what to get on your own if he gets worms again (he's so positive). I'm posting this review so others can benefit from my learning experience. I recommend you STILL take your dog for a checkup so they can confirm the problem (intestinal worms), but do your own research and figure out if there are cheaper alternatives for treatment. Teddy had signs of worms for 2 days. He could have waited an extra 2 days for Amazon Prime's free 2-day shipping.
