Both my cat and dog go insane for these. The are a large size, almost an inch square, so I have to cut them up into smaller sizes to use them as training treats. That's the reason I gave them only four stars. when cutting, they give off a lot of liver dust. I just add the dust to other treats (the stickier kind) and that seems to give the cheaper treats superpowers as well.

I wish these were much smaller. that is my only complaint.

After a recent pet surgery, I decided to really check the labels of all the foods I give to my dog. Many treats are high in carbs and sugars, not so healthy for some dogs. These are bite sized pure freeze dried liver, just as it says and my dog loves them. There is a slight smell if you leave the bag open, but I just reseal it and it does not smell on the counter! My dog gets one or two a day, and they are her favorites.

My dogs are 16yrs old and my boy has few teeth left. These are great, they are easy for him to chew and a healthy treat.

My dog wouldn't eat them! Think it was because she has a stubby short nose and cannot smell good enough.
