I tried several different products to help my dog keep his teeth in optimum health and Dentastix work the best for the cost, and, my picky puppy-dog will eat them.

I tried several non-edible "chew" products but he would not chew on them. He's very picky about what he chews. So, other than a couple of products that are edible, all the non-edible options for my dog are useless because he won't chew them. The other edible options are ridiculously overpriced.

Our vet said that the Dentastix do seem to work and as long as he only eats 1 per day, that they won't hurt his diet.

My only gripe is the cost. But Amazon sells them at a pretty competative price and my local stores don't always have them in stock, so I often purchase them here. (Walmart usually has the lowest price, but they don't always have the large stix in the 32 or 40 stix pack; Petsmart and PetCo are more expensive and, again, don't carry the larger packs.)

I gave this item 4 stars because my dog likes them and I can get them at a fairly good price.

After we first got our dog we were told that it's important to use Greenies every day to keep his dental health well. However, the cost is outrageous when used on a daily basis so I researched a lesser expensive product that would get the same results and I definitely found it with these Pedigree Dentastix. My dog loves them, has one every day and his teeth are sparkling white.

Just spotted these GREEN ones and thought I would try them on the dog. She has been using regular ones for years. Well, she loved them. They have a parsley like aroma. We now try to feed her a mis of both and she seems quite content with that.

Much less expensive than greenies and have noticed the same enthusiasm from the dog. Her teeth look cleaner and it doesn't break the bank. I have a smaller dog, but the smaller treats she seems to eat way too fast. With these larger treats, she takes her time and I feel like she gets a better cleaning experience.

I cant really say if these help my dog's breath and teeth but being 13 she now has to chew something softer than rawhides so these will do.
