I'm not sure how the other reviewer thinks this food is rich. It contains only natural ingredients, and LOTS of protein. We switched our 4 pound Yorkie to this food when he was 3 months old, and he has eaten it the past year and a half. He LOVES it, and he is not fat in the least. In fact, the groomer and vet have both remarked how lean he is, and have said that this food is excellent for him.
If your dog gets fatter eating this food, perhaps it is the amount of food you are feeding. Don't blame the food, as it is top quality.I bught this for my overweight chihuahua. He is 10 lbs and should be 7lbs. I feed him 1/8 to 1/4 cup 2 x a day. I believe this has 400 calories a cup. He is getting fatter. I am going to try IAMES Blue Bag next when all the product is finished. He absolutely loves the taste it may be good for treats but that is it. Very rich.
