Dog absolutely loved the springy action and the dumbbell shape; however, after a few sessions of treating I have already noticed all the chewed grooves and scratches, and my dog is really not a heavy chewer. The durability is suspect if you stuff treats in it, but my dog still loves the toy as a fetch and play toy. I would check this often for damage, but there's no doubt the dog loves it.I was looking for something that would keep my inquisitive shih tzu/poodle mix occupied. Product arrived and I imediately took it out of the packaging and set it up with my pup's favorite kibble. She played with it for almost 45 minutes. I do have to find some treats that fit in the toy without falling out as easily as her toy breed puppy-sized kibble but I will definitely use this toy very much in the future.
