These look like the other chicken tenders we have bought and I didn't find any bad smell like the other reviewer. My dogs did a taste test and approved.

But ... the packaging is just a plastic snap pouch and there is no information on the label. I ordered these specifically to get away from the dangers of the Chinese made products ... because the listing here says 'Made in the USA'. I expected to see information about the actual manufacturer and an ingredient list somewhere on the packaging. There is nothing ... not even the Made in the USA statement ... and this causes me to have doubts. It does look like they were pulled bulk from who knows where and stuck in these plastic sacks with a generic vendor label. The plastic bags are not sealed and even though the item is dehydrated that makes me wonder about chances for contamination.

I really thought it was the law that edible items even for pets had to have information on their labels?

I'm undecided if I will order these again. In the absence of some more information from the vendor I'm going to go back to looking for another source.

This chicken jerky is not made in the USA! The Amazon website says it is, but the packaging has NOTHING on it about country of origin or the ingredients! The seller's website does not claim that this jerky is made in the USA. This is just bulk chicken jerky (most likely from China) that has been repackaged in the USA. My dogs sniffed it and won't touch it (even the one that will eat things that will make a billy goat sick). Don't risk your dogs health/life. If this is truly made in the USA, the the seller would proudly proclaim this on his own website and on the actual package.

Very disappointed. I have been looking for chicken jerky for my chihuahuas that is made in the USA. My dogs love chicken strip jerky, but not this. I stopped buying Waggin Train, because I found out it is made and processed in China. Heard some rumors of recalls. It took almost 2 weeks to receive. They smell really bad with a strong chemical smell of plastic mixed in. They not vacuum sealed for freshness, but are packed and shipped in polyurethane plastic snap pouches with access to a lot of air. They are overly hard and look, feel and smell stale. No details on the outer packaging with ingredients or confirmation of where it was made. Product could have and probably was purchased in bulk and repackaged in by seller. I would not be surprised if these came from overseas. They are 10 times inferior to Waggin Train and at more than twice the price. I have asked for a refund. Neither myself or my dogs recommend!!!

I only bought these because they said "Made in USA". When they arrived I was surprised to see an old looking package (looked like it's been on the shelf or storage for years. (old plastic with many scuffs and somewhat soiled) The odd thing was the label, which looked small and not "official" looking. No information about the ingredients, or much of anything except a web address. In a small circle sticker in had "Made in America", a definite after-thought. I just checked the website. It has even LESS info than the label! Absolutely NO information...even for BUYING these!!

Mostly likely NOT made in the USA :(

These arrived and I was surprised to find that there was no mention on the packaging of the origin of the product. There is no contact information for the company either except a website reference. I am quite confident that this company does not meet the minimum FDA/AAFCO labeling requirements as well as there is list on ingredients and thus this causes me concern. In the Product Description on Amazon and curiously on the Happy Dog Place website it looks like someone decided to add "Made in the USA" as an after thought (and in a different font). I don't know how dogs view these items but for my eye these tenders seem very dry and brittle. Likewise they are the darkest color of all chicken tenders I have ever seen. I ended up throwing these out. I always find it strange that people write about how much their dogs like these types of treats. Almost all dogs like jerky/tender style treats. However I don't know of any dogs who read the FDA reviews, notices and warnings and so I think it is incumbent on the owner to make the proper, safe choices.

I have a very uncomfortable feeling about this product so will buy another tender which clearly states "Made in the USA" on packaging and also has a way to contact the company. The company sells tenders from China so again I see no real commitment to sell safe products so this is another reason I will not be buying these again.
