I gave one of these bully sticks to my year old lab and it was gone within 5 minutes. Usually bully sticks last her a long time. In fact, I often take the stick away and make it last for 2 chewing sessions. This stick was brittle and crumbled apart. My dog loves bully sticks, but he is not much of a chewer. I think the thinkness of the braid was just to much (he's a 60 pound lab mix). These bully sticks are a great way to entertain the dog when he gets the chewing bug. The braided form is a little bit more of a challenge for him and he's loving every second of it. They do stink but so do all bully's. I'd recommend these over the straight ones any day as they take much longer to finish off.
