The Lotus ball was recommended to us by our agility instructor who had seen it used at a seminar recently. The ability to roll the balls with the treats inside make it easy to train with them both inside and outside. The dogs love them! I've seen an increase in prey drive and attention with my dog since I started training with this toy. I'd highly recommend the Lotus ball to anyone for dog training.

This is a super toy for dogs that need to develop toy drive. It's easy to rip open the velcro and put a treat inside. At first it bothered me that my dog learned to open it by himself, but now I don't mind. He has figured out that he needs to bring it to me so I can put more goodies in it. It has really helped our training to have a toy to throw that gets him excited.

I wish the "small" size was smaller. The diameter is pretty big, probably about the size of a standard tennis ball. My dog is about 11 lbs but he can manage. I'd buy an extra small if they made one.

This ball is perfect as a reward for agility training, it's small enough to fit in your pocket. Once you teach your dog to open it to get the food out as they have been rewarded they will be crazy about the ball.

Awesome idea. Too bad it is just three pieces of velcro. My dog slaps his paw down on the top of it and it opens immediately. However he loves it, it just doesn't keep him occupied very long. I just bought 30 feet of velcro straps I'm going to wrap around an existing treat dispensing toy. I think it will work much better. He loves the ripping sound and I hope more velcro will take him longer to undo.

Lots of fun and the dog loved it. Combining a toy and treats that we could throw after a successful agility run gave more motivation to go fast! The medium is NOT pocked sized though...if you want something small enough to put in a pocket go with the small.
