I have a toy poodle and this brush doesn't really go through her hair to the skin, but it makes her hair feel like silk. I love the brush. It's a little hard to use but worth it.Buy Hartz Groomer's Best Slicker Dog Brush Now
some slicker brushes are too stiff and sharp on the dog. I like and the dogs prefer the Hartz Slicker brush.Read Best Reviews of Hartz Groomer's Best Slicker Dog Brush Here
I've wound up with a rather large collection of slicker brushes because I'm alwayssearching for just the right one. Think I've finally found it.
I'm dealing with 2 Bichons that I like to keep long. This brush is the ticket for the
daily grooming ritual. Not sure but I want to say it has more pins, and they
are definitely a little longer than some other brushes...which makes it nice. I can get down
deeper without more pressure. Lots of smooth fluff is the result. I'm sure my dogs are as
pleased about this as I am. Nice strong rubber grip on the handle. Handle and head are
one piece. Grip slides over handle. Very sturdy. The price is right.
Got to get another one before everybody discovers it and the price doubles.
Highly recommended for double coats. This brush does a good job but I have two complaints. First, the head has become seperated from the handle and no matter how many times I superglue it back together it evenually falls apart again. I find this to be a common problem with almost all slicker brushes though. Second, I have several double coated pekingese, if I dont watch how much force I apply it hurts them ,I've never experienced that with another other brush so this one is sturdy.
