A friend of mine had the larger Crinkit and after seeing how much her dog enjoyed it I decided to order the smaller version for my new puppy. I could not find a water bottle that fit the 8oz version. Every "mini" water bottle I found was still too long for the 8oz Crinket. I ended up shoving treats into it so that my dog could at least play with the thing..which resulted in the end flaps being torn to pieces. After it's destruction, I ordered the full-sized Crinkit and my dog (and I) am very happy with that one. I would not recommend the 8oz Crinkit but would highly recommend the full-size version.
