I started buying these from my Vet originally and my Dachshund puppies love them. They actually fight over them. Yes they are hard but isn't that the purpose. So it will help to keep their teeth clean. They don't mind them at all. Since it was very expensive to buy them from the Vet I decided to do a search on Amazon. Low and behold I found them here and this is where I will always purchase them from now on. I would definitely recommend them.I bought this for my cat. This are more for dogs. My cat thought the treat was a toy. It is reallllllly big and very harrrrrd. I couldnt even cut through the treat with a knife. I would not buy this again.
