I have a three year old yorkipoo who has always been extremely picky about his food. We had some success (by "some success" I mean he'd eat half of what he was supposed to) with the Prarie brand by Natures Variety, but he always had runny eye problems and had trouble keeping weight on. My mother's vet recommended the Wellness brand for her dog to lose weight and suggested I try the small breed formula for my picky dog. I'm so glad I tried it! Since switching my dog to the Wellness small breed formula my dog eats every single piece. I don't have to sit there and encourage him to eat. He willingly eats the whole bowl and cannot wait for his next meal. I'm convinced that I could feed him 5 times a day and he'd still eat every last piece because its just that good. I have never seen him so excited to eat! On top of this his coat is as soft as ever and his watery, running, cloudy eyes are completely clear. My Shih Tzu's have allergies, they licked and about chewed their paws off. Spent $$$$'s at the vet for pills, shots, etc..I did research and came across Wellness and I am soo happy I did. I have two Basenjis both of who are under breed weight/size and who have corn allergies. I cannot stress enough how awesome this food has been for them. Their appetites are up, they are putting on weight, they have more energy where their other food (which was also on the Top Ten Dog Foods List) made them sluggish and caused one to lick a hole in herself. This food has given me my girls back and I recommend it highly to anyone who has issues with small breeds with allergies. I could go on and on about the differences but honestly, buy a bag and try it. There is nothing I can say that you won't see for yourself.

I've tried various "natural" dental products for my two small dogs. All the products I've tried promise more than what we've actually experienced. Every night without fail both my dogs go through a grooming ritual that includes brushing teeth. They are mostly cooperative except when it comes to brushing so, I tried Leba III. I did "exactly" as instructed and while it helped with their breath my Papillon did get some tartar on his gum line and it didn't whiten their teeth so, we are back to brushing nightly and using the spray. I'm a fanatic when it comes to dental hygiene because of the risk involved in putting them under anesthesia for professional cleaning and the cost. I have a 4 year old dog that has never had his teeth cleaned. Took him to the vet and got an estimate on what it would cost to have them cleaned. After hearing all the additional options/tests I could have done to make sure my dog was healthy enough to put under anethesia I started to really get worried. My friend told me about this spray she had seen in the magazine. After I did some research I went ahead and ordered it. If it didn't work, well it wouldn't have been the first thing I've ordered that didn't work. To my surprise it does work! My vet recommended this product so I reluctantly purchased my first bottle as I was dubious as to whether it could really work. It really does! I have two dogs, one of whose teeth were getting a great deal of tartar buildup. I am now on my third bottle. I started noticing the results about halfway through the second bottle and both dog's teeth have improved remarkably. My 8 year old terrier who was beginning to need a dental no longer does; I would venture to say her teeth have at least 50% less tartar than they did before. I believe I will not have to have either dog's teeth cleaned by the vet in the future and Leba III is in my house to stay. Been battling 'biting mites' in my place, for months, which are just about the most miserable damn pests you can imagine, and are apparently due to a fairly good sized feral cat population in our area.... These things are so tough and aggressive, it seems at times that the only thing to do is move, which I have seriously considered... I've tried all the eco friendly products out there, and all they do, like this Dustmitex, and the Natural Ginesis spray, is knocks them back for a few hours...and all you end up doing, is spending lots and lots of money, and prolonging your agony... The packing of the product in bad condition. There is some unknown white powder covering the bag of the product, it seems that the white powder from other bag is spelled on the bag of the product I have ordered. Since I don't know what type of white powder covering my order, so I threw it away without using and will not recommend it to anyone that I know because of the damage of my order.

My dogs absolutely love these treats and unfortunately the company that makes these have discontinued them! I haven't broken the news to my dogs yet! ha. I did contact the company and they confirmed that they are no longer making them. They said most people preferred giving their dogs softer treats to prevent them getting choked on the hard treats. I ordered one of these cow ears for my dog, and they seem to be very high qualitymuch better than some other cheap, generic ones. It has a lighter texture than rawhide. However, mine had what seemed to be a blue tattoo on it. I'm assuming that was used for identification on the cow, not added during processing. Also, my dog would not chew this. I even smeared peanut butter on it, but he just licked that out of the crevices and then ignored the actual cow ear. But, my dog is the one who won't eat rawhide or bully sticks either. I'm guessing dogs who like these types of chews would love this. My dog is just a bit weird. So4 stars for quality; 1 for (picky) pet satisfaction
