I purchased this cat door to allow my cats access to a screened in porch via a window in my kitchen, while not allowing my dogs access and keeping the heat and bugs out. I live in TX in a rental house and this was the perfect solution. Only took my cats about 20 min to figure it out along with about a 1/4 can of treats...LOL. I have had it about 6-7 months and it has held up well.
