My dog adores these, as you'll see in the attached video as he lunges for one. In a separate test he did prefer a Greenie to the Perio. I will say the real solution to good breath in dog isn't either product -it's daily brushing and periodic tooth cleaning at the vet.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program My dog gets no external benefit from these. He bites them in half and swallows them. Unless this product works internally, it does not have any effect on my dog's teeth or breath. I wish these dental sticks were not so soft. My dog is a 55lb mix of pit and boxer. The Kong does a much better job than this and it is cheaper and lasts a lot longer

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have 4 dogs and two of them are young and two are older. The two older are the smallest dogs at 19 lbs and 7 lbs and have the worst halitosis. I probably should have concentrated the bones on just the small dogs but the big dogs also loved these dental stix.
I really don't think they did anything for my 7 lb dogs breathe. It's still terrible. I'm not saying my 19 lbs dog is 100% better but I believe that if he was able to have the whole bag to himself it may have helped him considerably. I'll definitely get more of these for the dogs.
There was a warning on the bag about not overdosing the dog on these so I did break the bones into two for my smallest dog. I was a bit nervous. She probably would have been fine with an entire bone but I didn't want to chance it either way. I get so anxious giving my dogs treats now that I generally stick to carrots and all natural peanut butter.
Every dog loved these bones and although my 1.5 year old and my 2 year old dog didn't really need these as neither of them even have any tarter I wanted to give them some just to ensure their teeth stay healthy.
My Vet did say that one my of dogs could be do for some dental cleaning in the next couple of years and it's not something I'm excited about. I'm going to try this product again and see if it helps any more.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I was fortunate to have the opportunity to try these "free". I liked the ingredients although I wonder what "Chicken liver flavor" is? Is it that hard to get the real thing? This was the 6th ingredient. I try to stay natural with my dogs (2 Yorkies), so far they are pretty healthy for their age.
I have been giving it to them daily and they like it.
For the last 3 or 4 months, I had been giving my dogs "Greenies". I was super impressed at the complete transformation of my one dog's breath from overpowering to not present within a few weeks. The other didn't have an odor problem so I can't comment. Yorkies tend to get a lot of plaque so I will update this after their next vet visit.
Tonight, I had the taste competition. Given the choice between these and Greenies. Both Yorkies chose Greenies first. Both treats were placed in front of them at an equal distance from their body. They were forced to move to get either treat so it wasn't a matter of laziness. My one dog sniffed both before she selected. The one, who had suffered horrendous doggie breath chose Greenies without an hesitation.
So, Picky Yorkies pick Greenies first! Paws down. (See my review on Greenies Teenies)
On a final note, the bag is supposed to seal with pressure applied to the zippers. It never stays for me. I decided to just put it in another container to prevent staleness and bugs.
