I bought the General Panton bones for my Dobie and Great Dane. They are fantastic. The dog loved them, and they are big and strong enough to hold up to some serious chewing. They lasted a few weeks, where most other bones have lasted only a few hours.

Years ago this bone was recommended to me by the owner of a small pet store. I have a dane/lab mix, Gumbo. He literally splintered every bone i gave him. The owner recommended this bone and it has been just wonderful. Gumbo loves them and tho he can eventually chew the knuckles off, he has never been able to splinter this one. I have recommended it to people w/ med to large dogs and it has become the bone of choice for everyone I know.

Maybe when our puppy gets bigger he will like it. But You would think he would just keep licking it or something. I will save it for later and see. For now...it is ok.

I have a 75lb Golden retriever who can eat through rawhide bones in an hour so I thought I'd try these to keep him busier longer. I bought 3. I ended up throwing them all away. He wasn't interested in them and they're so hard that he got bored once he licked off the flavor.

Very good product for the price. Last a long time too. When you need to recharge the flavor just boil in somw water with some chicken or beef broth.
