I'm not sure if these help Zack's breath or not. Usually his breath if fine, but sometimes it's bad. Giving him the Yip Yap has not seemed to make an immediate difference in the breath. But i've found that they are a great training treat for him. I've used them throughout his life, he's now 5 years. He really loves them and i think they smell very good, kind of like chicken soup?. They are small and are not going to put weight on him. And i can easily break them in half, and then they are really really tiny, and that makes a good training treat, something a dog really loves that's really small, makes them happy without making them fat or costing a lot, and something that won't spoil or get messy. I love the little tins they come in, easy to open and close and store. This is the second time i've gotten the large size with twelve tins in it. I don't like the other large size of these which i used to get, those cost about a third or less of what these cost but only come with one tin, and the rest are in a cellophane bag. It doesn't close tight, i put a rubber band on it, but it was more hassle. Now i get this big size with 12 tins in it and i place the tins around the house in areas where i often give them to Zack, for example near the back door, or where i sit in the family room, so that if i let him outside in the backyard and he starts barking, i yell 'no,' and 'come,' and i shake the tin, and that will usually get him to stop barking and come into the house, and then i give him that little reward that he loves so much. My old cat takes thyroid medication every morning and night, little pills that she gets with Pill Pockets. Zack wishes he could have Pill Pockets too twice a day but that would be really expensive and i'm not sure it would be good for him, so i started giving him a little piece of Yip Yap when i give Fluffy her Pill Pocket and everyone is happy, so i keep a tin by Fluffy's medicine box.
