They changed the pricing on these things. Used to be $20-ish for a pack of three. Just got my subscribe and save order and there was only one! This is ridiculous. I've changed my review from 4 stars to 1 and I am canceling my future orders.

I've been more concerned about my dog's health these days as he starts to gain double digits. My little dachshund of nearly 11 years isn't as spry as he used to be. Additionally, he's been getting fatty lumps on his body that are apparently common with some varieties of dogs, but unwanted nonetheless. I've read the lumps in particular can be caused by feeding dogs a diet too high in carbohydrates and low in protein, so when I saw these beef sticks were grain-free, I jumped on it.

I feel very safe knowing these things are made in the USA. Buying electronics, dishwashers, and clothes made in China or other parts of Asia doesn't make me that uncomfortable, but feeding my dog food from those areas really frightens me, given what's been covered in the news lately.

And of course my dog loves these things! They're decently hard to chew through, so it's almost like a small rawhide chew toy, but made out of real beef, not whatever the heck those things are made from.

Overall, I feel pretty satisfied with my purchase, and have signed up for the subscribe and save shipment option. The only thing I'm not too thrilled about is the price, but I guess for my peace of mind the price is right.

Although I my dogs love Love LOVE these sticks, the fact that Amazon has arbitrarily reduced the order quantity from a 3-pack down to a single pack but is still charging virtually the same price (my last 3-pack shipped on subscribe both in December 2012 and in February 2013 for $23.80 less the subscribe and save 15% off) makes these a never order again item.

I won't go into the repeated attempts to bring this problem to the attention of Customer Service this is not the forum for that.

However, make no mistake, I knew full well they were a staggering $8 regularly per single pack for 5 dog treats (each stick roughly the size of my ring finger) but my dogs loved them and I felt a 3-pack price was something I could swallow. However, a one-pack at $20 that is $7 FOR LESS THAN AN OUNCE!!! Enough said.

I purchased the bully sticks last in December 2012. The product was a 3-pack for about $23.

This is a fantastic product. My 2 toy poodles love the roasted bully sticks. I give them each one on Sunday. They eat Nature's Variety Instinct raw food and are very healthy. We love the quality of Nature's Variety. The price of the roasted bully sticks is a mistake on Amazon (for whatever reason). It is less than half on other online vendors. Since I am a big Amazon fan, I am disappointed with the pricing error. I will have to purchase elsewhere until this is corrected.
